Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) documents have been prepared at the request of an international consortium of national standards bodies, occupational health and safety institutes, industry groups and certification bodies to provide interim specifications and related guidance for occupational health and safety management systems until formal standards are published.
