Dr. Svante Lifvergren currently works as Development Director at the Hospital Group of Skaraborg (SKaS). He is a member of the Executive Leading Committee of SKaS. He is also a PhD student at the Chalmers University of Technology and his research area is how to improve healthcare proceses by understanding and reducing unwanted variation. He has been working as a physician for nearly 20 years and also led a number of large improvement projects in different healthcare settings. Svante's main areas of speciliasation are internal and pulmonary medicine. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
